Family Guy is a Fox animated series that follows the life of the Griffin family. Peter, Lois, Meg,
Chris, Stewie, and Brian live in the town of Quahog, Rhode Island.The show has been
cancelled on two separate occasion, but strong DVD sales and a large fan base has made it one of the most successful
programs on television today.The program might not be for the light hearted, but the writing, animation, and obvious use of satire is funny.The show has always pushed the limits of the FCC
and acceptable topic material.
Family Guy was created by Seth MacFarlane, who voices main characters Peter, Stewie, Brian, and Glenn Quagmire.The show follows and unique style, which includes numerous
“cutaway jokes.”It has gags surrounding numerous historical figures, famous moments in
history, and carton, animated, and even cereal characters.I have collected the videos of ten of my
favorite Family Guy moments for your enjoyment.
10. Peter Knocks Out Rival Soccer Dad or Is that a Soccer Mom
In this Family Guy episode Chris decides to take up soccer, which does not fair well as he is not the most athletic
kid.Peter doesn’t take nicely to another child’s parent bad mouthing Chris’s play
and decides to throw blows.After the knockout Peter realizes that it was a soccer mom not dad that
he had gotten into the fight with.
9. The Evil Monkey Takes a Beat Down
In this Family Guy episode Brian gets tricked into thinking that he has a long lost son named Dylan, who comes
to stay with the Griffin family for a while.Brian finds himself a very protective father and a sensitive
moment ensues between the pair when they decide to share the peace pipe.Throughout Chris’s childhood he has been living with an evil monkey lurking in his closet.When Dylan first meets Chris
he encounters the evil monkey and takes the situation into his own hands.
8. Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun Commit Suicide
This Family Guy excerpt featured the suicide of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. Eva Braun was the longtime
companion and wife of Adolf Hitler.Braun
and Hitler committed suicide together on April 30, 1945, at around 3:30 p.m.It is thought that they bit into cyanide
capsules, while Hitler also used a gun.This clip depicts the historical event.
7. Griffin Family Contest - Who Pukes Last?
In this
Family Guy episode Peter goes to visit Mort at the Quahog pharmacy and gets numerous bottles of ipecac syrup.Ipecac is derived from the dried rhizome and roots of the ipecacuanha plant and is a well known emetic, which is a substance that is used to induce vomiting.Peter, Stewie, Chris, and Brian all get a bottle
to drink off of and the final person to vomit receives the last piece of pie in the refrigerator.Chris
ultimately wins the contest.
6. Stewie's Journey Inside the Womb
In this Family Guy episode Stewie celebrates his first birthday.He is a bit suspicious by
all of the attention and remembers back to his battle to gain access to Lois egg.He recalls the nine
months of being in the womb and feels that his birth was a ploy against his plot to rule the world.It
ultimately gives him serious animosity towards Lois.
5. The Griffin Family Visits Ground Zero
In this Family Guy clip the Griffin family stops by New York to visit ground zero and the site of the 2001 terrorist
attacks.Peter is confused with the historical accuracy surrounding the events and Brian has to set
him straight on the issue.The satire is clear as day.
4. Stewie and Brian Leave the Military
In this Family Guy episode Stewie and Brian get pushed into joining the military.They are
quickly looking for a way out.The pair starts by trying to convince commanders that they are gay,
but when that fails they decide to attempt an honorable discharge and take to shooting each other in the foot.
3. Peter and His Pirates
In this Family Guy episode Peter takes to becoming a pirate.A British distributor is transporting
a shipment of sugar cane, tobacco, and spices when Peter and his pirates attack.A massive battle
ensues between the two parties.
2. I'm Just a Prom Night Dumpster Baby
One of the original songs from the show.It follows the story of a musically
talented prom night dumpster baby.

The Federal Communications Commission is an independent agency of the United States government
that regulates what appears on American television. Family Guy has been pushing the limits set by the FCC since its creation.In one of the most famous moments in Family Guy history, Peter, Brian, and Stewie sing a song to the FCC.The video is accompanied with some of the most controversial moments in Family Guy history.
